At first I thought two freezer drawers was weird but now I love them because food doesn™€™t get lost. I wish your appliance designers and engineers were all women. The shelving/drawer configuration is not really smart. Example: What if I have to store only 1 or 2 bottles of wine? I have to give up space on the shelf to a half-empty wine rack, or not use the wine rack at all. Fortunately, for me, this is a "second" basement fridge, and I have opted to simply not use half the storage junk that was included.

I used to love this fridge until water started leaking out of the bottom. I've spent countless hours on youtube trying to figure out how to fix it and it seems impossible. I suspect it's a clogged drain tube, but I can't get to it. Where is the customer service?

It's a nice fridge and so far (4 days) I like it. The door is a bit odd. There's an inverted handle - like a sunken grip - in the door thickness, not on the front. I have the door hinged on the right. You have to use your left hand to open the door if you are standing directly in front or to the side. You'd have to be a contortionist to open it with your right hand. It's definitely weird. Also - no instructions about shelves and other features what so ever, and not even a line directing you to a web site for a manual. There's basic info abot temperature control on the inside of fridge but that's it.

Just got it and it™€™s 100% better than my older shorter 24™€ wide top freezer one. It only makes sense that the freezer is on the bottom™€¦ no more bending over to get to my veggie drawer which I use everyday! The plastic drawers seem sturdy and slide smoothly. The freezer drawers and compartments slide all the way out so I can see what™€™s in there. It™€™s very quiet right now and it™€™s running on turbo cool and turbo freeze. I was told it will take 4 hours to completely cool/freeze, but it already after 45 minutes seems quite cool. There™€™s plenty of space in the fridge part for everything I had in my old fridge that was crowded and I couldn™€™t see™€¦ just now found out there were 2 bottles of jalapeños in the old one! Now when I open the door, I can see everything without bending! Love the moveable top self! Again , I™€™m giving 5 stars right out the box just for the space and the bottom drawers configuration™€¦ I™€™ll update after I get back from a one week holiday.

Nice fridge. Wish it was slightly taller and that there was more fridge space compared to freezer space. I like the drawers for the freezer below but the two separate doors take up more freezer space than is necessary. It would make more sense to have a slightly smaller single freezer compartment with one interior drawer, and a taller fridge space with more options for where to align shelves. Overall a great looking fridge but could be improved

Horrible Experience

Ordered directly from GE on 4/19. Confirmed delivery for 4/25, took day off work but delivery people never called, never showed. Said they "forgot to put it on the truck." Received it the following week after taking another day off work. Fridge worked fine for one month, started having massive amounts of condensation (it was practically raining from the roof of the fridge compartment). Called on 7/29 to get a repair, earliest appointment was 8/15. Guy shows up, says yeah, it's broken, will order parts. Never hear back. Called repair guy 8/30, says he can't get parts for AT LEAST another month. Call GE, they offer to replace unit but it'll be ANOTHER month and I'm sure I'll have to take ANOTHER day off work. To summarize, I've taken three days off work (so far) to deal with a PRICEY refrigerator that worked properly for one month since May. It's now September and I still don't have a working fridge. For $1700, there are waaaay better options out there. So disappointed in my decision.

I've owned this fridge for over a year now and have been very happy with it. It's structured smartly and efficiently and the design allows for optimal storage space. The two-drawer freezer is probably my favorite part, and the removable bin in the bottom freezer drawer allows me to store my ice cube tray or the occasional box of frozen pizza neatly, without worry about having it be placed crooked. Controls are straightforward and easy to adjust. My only 2 minor suggestions would be to: make the control panel a little less sensitive to accidental brushes and to include an optional handle that could be attached to the top door.

Great smaller fridge/freezer for my single status. I was concerved about my 38 yr old fridge giving out on me & started looking a couple of years ago. The spot it needed to fit into is smallish & awkward with another counter in front of it, so a regular size swing out door wouldn't fit. This is smaller than my old fridge, but fits the space well & holds all I need. Just miss having auto ice. (An add on I passed on)

The intelligent design makes everything easy to reach. The undivided frige drawers offer plenty of space for the quantities of fruits and vegetables i use as a vegetarian. The front-opening, divided freezer drawers are super convenient. I would like to meet the designer of this appliance. My previous fridge was almost twice the size (21.5 sf) but this one more conveniently holds everything it did.

A classy small secondary refrigerator for the home

We needed a small secondary refrigerator with a bottom freezer. This was the only model we could find in our price range that had a bottom freezer with double drawers. It's working great so far. I was surprised to see that R600a refrigerant was used in this refrigerator but it wasn't a surprise as I know that better refrigerants are always being considered to protect the ozone, to reduce greenhouse gases, and to function more efficiently. I particularly like the LED lighting but wish that LED lighting was also in place for the bottom drawer of the freezer (maybe in the next model update?).

This Refrigerator is everything I was hoping it would be: nice looking, fits perfectly in a small corner, has much more room than its cubic feet capacity would suggest, is extremely quiet and keeps food cold and fresh. Designated crisper and meat compartments are a nice feature that I really appreciate. My one complaint would be that I would prefer more fridge space and less freezer space, but I really like the roll out freezer doors. Finally, I have noticed I am using less energy per month since I've had this unit, which is always a bonus. All in all, I am quite pleased with this purchase and believe that it is worth the premium price.

Love it, particularly the bottle rack that folds flat when not in use and the half shelf at the top which has a slide out piece to make it a full shelf when needed. It™€™s sleek looking and runs quietly.

It™€™s the perfect size for my small NYC apartment. I love that it has height of a large refrigerator but the width and depth of a compact size. It has plenty of room on the inside and I love that the freezer has two draws.

Perfect for smaller spaces

We are loving this new fridge! After delivery the freezer was set very low and we had some ice buildup on the back wall, but after changing that setting it seems to be fine. Despite being more narrow than what we had before, we can fit more into it. Once the ice bin was full, we have yet to run out of ice but I wish it would sense when the bin was full and not overflow.
