I purchased this appliance just six months ago, and it is already failing to dry properly. When I contacted GE for service, they referred me to a third-party provider called Bodewell. The phone experience was frustratingly automated, with an AI-generated system pushing me to use their website instead of speaking to a person.I managed to schedule an appointment for a Tuesday afternoon and stayed home during the designated 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM window. No one ever showed up, and I received no phone call or status update. When I called to find out what happened, no one answered. The following Wednesday, I finally received a call from them™"not to apologize, but simply to inform me that my appointment had been moved to the following Saturday! The product quality is disappointing, but the customer service and scheduling communication are completely unacceptable.

I absolutely love this dryer ð. The look is nice and sleek, simple front face, no electronic face to try to figure out,easy push button to start, large easy to use lint trap and large inside from to be able to dry large loads of clothing. Clothes dry quickly. You choose your heat settings,easy ventilation and it runs quietly, you barely hear it running, it's steady with no vibration and it has a end of cycle buzzer that's nice and loud so you really can hear. The only thing I wish it had is a light inside. This dryer was priced well, delivered in good condition and installed. I'm very happy with my dryer and highly recommend.

Only had 2 months but has preformed well so far. It fit space very well with flat back

Two days after we received the brand new dryer it started to make a loud thumping noise. This occurred whether or not wet clothes were in the dryer. We had to make a service appt even though it is brand new. Serviceman couldn't fix it so he ordered new parts for it. Did I mention that the dryer is brand new!!! Only two days old. Parts arrived in a week and we scheduled a new service appt. I can honestly say I will not order another GE appliance.

I purchased this dryer a year and two months ago and it literally just broke. Since it's 2 months past the one year warranty GE will not cover any repairs. Had I known it was going to break, I would've called two months prior. Do not buy this dryer, it's a worthless dryer to say the least. In the year that I've had it, I can honestly say I used it maybe once or twice a week. I'm a family of three, me, my husband, and our two year old, and for this appliance to give up so quickly is such a disappointment! I can't even explain what happened because it was drying a usual and suddenly I heard this loud grinding noise. When I opened the dryer the back silver cap had fallen off and it showed the drum was cracked from the back. No prior signs or warnings. I called GE and they want to charge $144.00 just to have a tech come out and tell me what's wrong with it. No, thank you. I'll just buy a new one. But I won't be buying GE appliances ever again!

The dryer is very efficient in capacity for my small household. The installation leaves something to be desired. The vent is bulky that I cannot push the dryer to the wall so that now my door doesn't close. Not feeling that. The features are hard to understand. So far, I think that I manage to get it to perform well. The bell notification when the cycle is complete is way loud.

The buzzer is the WORST SOUND. It is the loudest most horrible screeching sound that could™™ve been possibly designed. I hope all of the bad reviews on the buzzer make GE take action to never design this again. I swear they designed it as a punishment for buying the economy model. My pet runs away in fear. ð(BULLET)

So far, I am not very impressed with this dryer. It seems cheaply made. It is loud and doesn™™t do that grade of job. I would not recommend buying this product again. This is nowhere near the quality of my old Sears Kenmore dryer.

I love the simple sleek design of this machine. It is quiet when running and works great. I only thing that slightly bothers me and I do think I will get over it, is that the the beep when done seems to go on an extra long time. Overall great machine and highly recommend!

Disappointed that it does not have drum light.... who makes a dryer in 2025 without at drum light? To convert to propane gas needed taking drum apart .... 3 hours later and $240 it was done. It used to be so easy from the rear of the unit. Noisier than the dryer that was replaced. No more GE products for our home.

First of all, the lint ™trap™ is so hard to clean! You can never actually get all the lint out of it. It sticks to the netting like crazyð. Second, I don™™t like using high heat as I don™™t want to shrink my clothes, therefore I use ™medium™. Most of the time it takes at least 80 minutes to dry a load of jeans. Only reason we bought this unit was it was the only one that fit in our tiny laundry room. I would not recommend this at all if you have a different choice!!

The worst dryer I have ever owned. It's not only noisy buy you have to MANUALLY set up the timer. It won't stop automatically if the clothes are dry. The reason I purchased it was the size fits our space. Otherwise, absolutely NO.

Lint filter is hard to remove & doesn™™t catch much lint. I had GE agent check it & was told that the lint was suppose to be blown out into yard instead of caught in the filter.

It™™s a good basic dryer which is what I wanted and functions well once used to it. Setting knobs are a little hard to turn. I can manage it but would not be good for someone with arthritis or any hand or wrist issues. The warning alarms at the end of the cycle are extremely loud and startling. Would not be good for someone with a sleeping baby in the house. Would be good if there was a way to disable the alarm. My last dryer had a silence button for the alarm. This does not.

Capacity is good and clothes dry nicely. When they are still very wet there is a thumping noise as the drum turns. It's the clothes...once a bit dryer the noise goes away. Could be because there are three arms inside. I purchased because I had a small area to put it in.

What a waste! Purchased this dryer only because our old GE lasted over 20 years. Brand new dryer and after the first 3 loads it stopped heating. The dryer has cool air. After a week service came and has no idea what the problem is, so he ordered a bunch of parts as they were not in the van. It is going to take 2 weeks now so I have to be inconvenienced and use the laundromat. Why didn't they just order me a new dryer? It would have been faster!! I sure hope the repair works! And how come this isn't energy efficient??? Already spend more electricity than usual trying to dry loads
